Watch subtitled or dubbed — both are legitimate, and modern dubs are far better than their reputation. The only wrong choice is the one that stops you from finishing.
Legal streaming is straightforward now: two major services carry the overwhelming majority of current and catalogue titles, and most regions have at least one free ad-supported tier.
After your first show clicks, resist the temptation to start a thousand-episode series immediately. Watch two or three more twelve-episode seasons first so you learn what you actually like before committing a year.
